HORN Announces strong 2nd quarter
Raises more money from individual contributions to date than primary opponents
NASHUA – Jennifer Horn, Republican candidate for Congress in the 2nd District, announced today the results of her 2nd Quarter.
“We had a great 2nd Quarter,” stated Horn. “Our fundraising is strong and our grassroots is even stronger. “
For the 2nd Quarter, Jennifer Horn raised $61,000 for a total raised of $132,000. Of that, $91,000 came from close to 300 individual donors - more than the $76,000 reportedly raised by Bob Clegg from individual donations. Jennifer ended the quarter with $21,000 Cash on Hand.
Horn continued: “We have more donations from more contributors than any other Republican in the race. But the money raised does not tell the whole story. We continue to build a superior grassroots organization that will elect me to Congress and elect both John Sununu and John McCain. The other GOP candidates cannot say that.”
Jennifer picked up some key endorsements in the 2nd Quarter, including: Franklin Mayor Ken Merrifield, Former Franklin Mayor David Palfrey, Former Franklin Mayor Tony Giunta, House Minority Leader Pam Price, Tufts University Professor of International Security William Martel, and Representatives Peter Goyette, John Hunt, and David Dalrymple.
Horn concluded: “Everyone knows that you can’t buy votes in New Hampshire and that only a solid grassroots organization will win. Just ask John McCain. He won in New Hampshire and did not have the most money. Paul Hodes needs to get ready for the fight of his life. Voters are demanding change and I intend to bring the fight all the way to Washington.”
