Horn endorsed by former Gov. Romney

Congressional candidate Jennifer Horn landed the endorsement of fellow Republican and former Massaschusetts Gov. Mitt Romney.

Horn seeks to unseat freshman U.S. Rep. Paul Hodes, a Democrat, in the Nov. 4 election. Romney sought the GOP nomination for president but ended his bid to make way for eventual nominee Sen. John McCain.

In a statement released by Horn's campaign, Romney said, "Jennifer Horn is a fresh face who understands the struggles of families across New Hampshire. Jennifer will go to Congress and fight for New Hampshire instead of special interests.

"Congress needs to start working towards solutions to fix the economy, reduce excessive government spending, and make America energy independent, and that begins with electing Jennifer Horn!"
