JENNIFER HORN UNVEILS 10-POINT PLAN TO "MOVE AMERICA FORWARD"

HORN UNVEILS 10-POINT PLAN TO “MOVE AMERICA FORWARD”
Voters should hold candidates accountable to what they promise and what they do when elected

NASHUA – Jennifer Horn, Republican candidate for Congress, unveiled her 10-point “Moving America Forward” plan at a press conference in Concord.

“We should hold members of Congress accountable to their actions and what they accomplish vs. what they promised us when they ran for office,” stated Jennifer Horn.  “I want to renew the spirit of America and make government work for the people again.  During my first term in congress, I pledge to the voters of the 2nd District that I will fight for each of these issues so that we can Move America Forward.”

Congress has failed the American people by failing to address the most critical issues of the day: energy independence, national security, the American economy.  None of the challenges we face today are new – Republicans and Democrats alike have had ample opportunity to take action and work toward real solutions.

The Jennifer Horn Plan to “Move America Forward”:

1. MAKING AMERICA ENERGY INDEPENDENT
2. ENDING WASTEFUL GOVERNMENT SPENDING & LOWERING TAXES
3. WINNING THE WAR ON TERROR
4. SECURING THE BORDER
5. RETURNING INTEGRITY TO GOVERNMENT
6. CREATING GOOD JOBS
7. LOWERING HEALTH INSURANCE COSTS
8. RETURNING EDUCATION TO PARENTS, TEACHERS, & PRINCIPALS
9. REFORMING SOCIAL SECURITY
10. FIGHTING FOR VETERANS

Elections are about choices and about the future.  Voters deserve to know where each of the candidates stands on the critical issues of the day and they deserve to hear it from the candidates themselves.  During the remaining weeks of the primary and again during the general election, Jennifer Horn will discuss each of these issues in depth so that voters will know exactly where she stands and can make an informed decision when they vote.

Horn continued: “Voters have a real choice in this election.  They will be able to choose between Paul Hodes who votes with his party over the people of New Hampshire, and me; I will always put the best interest of New Hampshire first, even if that means standing against my party.  Paul Hodes calls Washington home.  I don’t believe that you can effectively represent the people who elected you if you are never here.  Nashua is my home, Washington will only be the place where I work.   Paul Hodes fails to offer solutions - only partisan rhetoric, glossy mailers and photo-ops.  I am here talking about my 10 point plan to Move America Forward.”

“We should expect more of those we send to Congress.  Paul Hodes has been an absentee congressman and he hopes that no one notices his poor performance.  I hold my plan up to the voters so they know what they will get from me when I am elected to Congress.  After 2 years, when I face the voters again, they can use my plan to judge my performance,” concluded Horn.
