Cornerstone Action PAC endorses Jennifer Horn

NASHUA – Jennifer Horn, Republican candidate for Congress, is honored to accept the July 20th endorsement of the Cornerstone Action PAC.

Jennifer Horn:  “I am pleased to receive the endorsement of Cornerstone Policy Research.  CPR has become the leading voice of conservatives in New Hampshire politics and with their support we will send a principled, fiscal conservative to represent the Second District in Congress.

In 2006 Republicans lost races across the country for the same reasons they lost them here in NH:  because they abandoned the core conservative principles of limited government that lead to unlimited opportunity.  They betrayed the trust of voters by spending and growing government just like Democrats.

New Hampshire families deserve a representative who will fight to return fiscal integrity to Washington.  Congressman Bass can not do that.  It is not enough that we are just “not as bad as the other guys.”  We must be better.  That means following through on the promises we make, not making excuses for breaking promises.

When I go to Congress I will fight for the kind of reforms that will benefit all NH citizens – a balanced budget amendment, elimination of earmarks, sunset provisions, term limits and the elimination of Congressional pensions. ”

CORNERSTONE ACTION PAC ENDORSES JENNIFER HORN FOR 2ND CONGRESSIONAL DISTRICT

CONCORD – Today, the PAC of Cornerstone Action endorsed Jennifer Horn in the race for the Second Congressional District.  The Cornerstone Action PAC was formed in 2009 as a vehicle for Cornerstone to endorse and financially support candidates for public office who embody Cornerstone’s core values of strong families, limited government, and free enterprise.  Since 2009, the Cornerstone-Action PAC made nearly $10,000 in independent expenditures or direct contributions to various candidates, including having made contributions in 7 out of the 8 special elections this cycle.

On (insert date), the Cornerstone Action PAC will be hosting a fundraiser for Jennifer at the home of Kevin Smith in Litchfield.

Commenting on Cornerstone Action PAC’s endorsement of Jennifer Horn today, was the chairman of the PAC, Kevin Smith:

“When analyzing the candidates in this race in terms of positions on the issues, strength of grassroots support, and resources to win, the choice was very clear: Jennifer Horn is the best candidate for the second congressional district.  Jennifer understands that the strength of our nation begins with our families and not with the government.  To that end, families only grow stronger and more prosperous when government keeps taxes low and business regulations to a minimum so that the private sector can create more jobs.  Jennifer clearly understands these basic tenants of our economy and we have the utmost confidence that she will be a champion of these conservative principals if she is elected to Congress.”

Jennifer has also been endorsed by Cornerstone’s national partner, the Family Research Council, as well as the Susan B. Anthony List, and Concerned Women of America.  Jennifer faces four opponents in the Republican primary on September 14th and would meet either Ann McLane Kuster or Katrina Swett in the general election.
