Securing the border

Today in America, the problem of Illegal Immigration and border security is at a breaking point. Every day we leave our borders and ports unprotected threatens our national security and puts strains on our local schools and hospitals.

True immigration reform and border security does not include amnesty for illegal immigrants. The American people have called for reform in these areas, but unfortunately Washington has refused to listen. Illegal immigration is the result of the government’s failure to do its job on the border, and Washington has continued to fail the nation’s call to address border security and real reform. 

Congress needs to: (1) Stop the Flow of Illegal Immigrants by building a border fence; (2) End Catch and Release; (3) Create tamper proof ID cards for legal immigrants; (4) Remove the Incentives for immigrants to remain in the U.S. illegally; and (5) modernize the  immigration code to address the contemporary needs of America.
